Iwel carried out a comprehensive lesson learning review on behalf of the African Development Bank. This included an analysis of thematic areas of operations and development of knowledge products of the African Water Facility (AWF). The review covered the AWF's work in water resources, agriculture, climate change, knowledge management, and monitoring and evaluation.

The review enabled Iwel to assess the AWF's performance in the various water sectors and draw lessons for improving its impact towards achieving the Africa Water Vision 2025.
